Snucker is one of the historical brands of Portuguese Home Textiles.

With a path of over 30 years, Snucker was a pioneer in selling home textiles through catalog, bringing hundreds of women together through the quality and out of the box design of the products it presented, in meetings, events, trips.

After a period in which the brand was “dormant”, it was acquired by another company with the goal of relaunching it in the market.

Based on an exclusively online business model, the challenge was to recreate and transform this traditional brand into a modern one, keeping its basic values but adapting it to modern times.

In this new life of the brand, Spotmarket was challenged not only to perform the rebranding of Snucker, but also to handle the entire planning and development process of the entire E-commerce operation, involving the communication, marketing and technology components, as well as the management of the online store.

The rebirth of a historic brand


The (re)creation of the Snucker brand took into account respect for its history and the potential recognition the brand would still have in the market.

Our goal was to create an image very close to the original, while optimizing certain details that would make the brand more contemporary.

Additionally, we designed all the brand’s applications and collateral, such as labels, packaging and cards.

Content Creation

All content and communication strategy was and is developed by Spotmarket.

Our team regularly develops photography and copywriting content for Facebook, Instagram, Email Marketing, Ads and Snucker’s own online store.

Digital Experience

With an online store already in production, Spotmarket started, in a first phase, a deep performance optimization of the platform, which was too slow. This process consisted of cleaning unnecessary plugins, migrating to a more suitable server and implementing a caching system. The end result of this optimization is clearly visible in the Google Page Speed Insights evaluation, where the Snucker online store went from a score of 7 out of 100 to 99 out of 100.

In a second phase, the SEO improvement was started. The Online Store had virtually no pages indexed by Google, so the first thing to do was to properly set up the website in Google Search Console and generate the sitemap to force indexing of the pages. Next, the On-page SEO was optimized, ensuring that the entire content structure followed best practices.

Finally and still ongoing, we are constantly looking to improve and introduce new features that add value to the user experience and the processes inherent to the management of the store.
